JOSH HARDER OUTRAISES NANCY PELOSI IN SAN FRANCISCO
Since Filing Date Harder has outraised Nancy Pelosi 4-to-1
MODESTO, CA – This election cycle, Josh Harder has raised close to $1 million in individual contributions from the City of San Francisco. As of October 28, Harder raised slightly more than $980,000 from the City of San Francisco. Josh Harder filed to run for Congress on May 2nd, 2017, and in that time Pelosi has raised just under $240,000 from individual contributions in San Francisco. Head to head as candidates, Harder is out raising Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi 4-to-1 in her own back yard. Nancy Pelosi has raised just over $363,000 from individual donations in San Francisco since January 1, 2017.
“Josh Harder is more beloved by San Franciscans than Nancy Pelosi, which is hard to do,” said Campaign Manager Josh Whitfield.
Harder has been absent from the 10th District until filing to run for Congress. He had not voted in Stanislaus County since 2008 and moved his voter registration to San Francisco to vote for Nancy Pelosi in the 2016 General Election. He changed his registration to Stanislaus County five months before filing to run for Congress while living in San Francisco.
“It’s obvious Josh Harder is loved by Bay Area liberals,” said Jeff Denham. “For him to outraise Nancy Pelosi in her own district says it all.”
