JOSH HARDER CONTINUES TO GUZZLE UP BAY AREA CASH, SHOWS LACK OF LOCAL SUPPORT
Takes Bay Area Money, Pushes Bay Area Priorities
MODESTO, CA – Josh Harder released his most recent campaign finance report that confirms his campaign is funded primarily by Bay Area Liberals whose priorities do not align with the Valley. With the most recent FEC report, Harder has claimed over $6 million since moving to the Central Valley from San Francisco to run for Congress. Nearly $3 million of that total, from 5,563 individual transactions, comes just from the Bay Area while roughly 1% ($116,084) comes from the 10th District. Some notable figures:
- Josh Harder has raised more or the same amount of money in seven Bay Area Cities alone, than he’s raised in the District.
- San Francisco $839,403
- Palo Alto $231,840
- Berkeley $206,018
- Oakland $182,136
- Atherton $113,684
- Menlo Park $111,460
- Hillsborough $111,217
- Only 220 individual donors reside in CD10
- His raise from the Bay Area is 25 times his raise from the 10th District.
- In San Francisco alone, Harder has raised 7 times what he’s raised in the 10th District.
- In Josh Harder’s claimed hometown of Turlock, only 21 people have contributed, including family.
The rest of Harder’s campaign money comes from all parts of the country and Southern California. In addition to his massive Bay Area haul, Harder has raised $614, 696 from the State of New York. Presumably from fellow venture capitalists who have little understanding of the Central Valley.
“It’s obvious where Josh Harder’s priorities lie, with Bay Area Liberals who are pumping millions of dollars in to his campaign” said Rep. Jeff Denham. “While he criticizes me for bringing the Administration here to the Valley to fight the State Water Grab, he’s off talking to his donors in San Francisco.”
Harder has openly admitted that he wants to place every American on government run healthcare at the cost of $32 trillion, raise individual and small business taxes by another $1.2 trillion, supports Sanctuary Cities and has advocated for taxpayer funded abortions through nine months. All priorities of Bay Area Liberals.
“It’s stunning to see such a lack of local support. You would think a guy who claims to be from the Valley would be able to generate more local support but that’s obviously not the case” added Campaign Manager Josh Whitfield. “He gets money from Bay Area Liberals because that’s what he is, plain and simple.”
